About the role
We are looking for an experienced staff member to join our South East YJCSS team.
Our programs provide intensive support and/or mentoring to young people and ensures young people referred to the program are; linked to family, community and culture, have pathways to economic participation and have access to a range of supports and services in relation to health, housing and developmental needs.
Cultural Connections provides a cultural focus on the delivery of YJCSS, increase cultural competency of all YJCSS staff and enhanced relationships with Māori and Pasifika communities and services in the Southern Melbourne and Bayside Peninsular Area.

About the program
Youth Justice Community Support Service (YJCSS)
Provision of pre and post release assessment and planning, intensive support and case management for young people at risk of entering custody or exiting Youth Justice Centres. Support is holistic and is provided predominately on an outreach basis. This service operates over 7 days between the hours of 7.00 am and 10.30 pm.
