About the role
Wildlife Conservation International (WCI) is an Australian founded organisation that is made up of the following: The Orangutan Project, the International Elephant Project and the International Tiger Project. WCI operates in Borneo and Sumatra. The Orangutan Project is responsible for 95% of our annual donations – both the International Elephant Project and the International Tiger Project are much smaller but are “brands” we wish to grow substantially to help fund our critical conservation projects.
WCI relies on social media and digital advertising to acquire new supporters. This includes both organic and paid activities in the following platforms:
- Google Search
We allocate a generous budget towards these activities with the basic principal of increasing spend if our ROI exceeds 1.1 (per annum).
We require someone to assist in this process for some of these tasks that do not require daily monitoring and management. These tasks may include (but do not need to be limited to):
The Orangutan Project
- Increase likes
- Experiment with Twitter/LinkedIn ads
- Review and help develop strategies for digital acquisition
International Elephant Project and the International Tiger Project
- Increase likes
- Experiment with Twitter Ads
- Setup, manage and review ads on Facebook and Instagram
