About the role
Established in 2004, ONE IN FIVE is a not-for-profit charity committed to alleviating the suffering caused by mental illness by funding medical research that will lead to better treatments and hopefully a cure. Our Vision is to Turn One in Five to None in Five.
Our volunteers are passionate about making a difference to Australians living with a mental illness. We raise money to fund scientists who are looking for breakthroughs and advances in mental illness.
ONE IN FIVE is looking to lift the organisation to its next level of maturity and awareness and has recently obtained DGR status.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Company Accountant. The successful applicant will provide accounting services to supporting the Board of Directors. This specifically includes completing monthly financial reporting for the Board, maintaining all ACNC and ATO reporting requirements, and providing financial advice to the Board with regards to investment decisions, funding grants, and maintaining our financial integrity.
