About the role
This volunteer role would be 1-3 hours per week, picking up Good Boxes from our warehouse in Templestowe and dropping them off to various charities around Melbourne. You will need access to your own transportation, ideally a large car or a van. Fuel vouchers will be provided for kilometers driven. You must be physically fit (lifting and loading of boxes into vehicles). You must have a valid drivers license and current car registration. You will be covered by The Good Box’s insurance. You will be coordinating with our staff and charity staff to confirm all pick-ups and deliveries.
You will need to be available between business hours for up to 2-3 hours of the day. The days of delivery are flexible.
About the organisation
The Good Box distributes beautifully packaged gift boxes for people experiencing homelessness. Co-founded by Gali Blacher and Madelyn Jones, The Good Box is designed to facilitate positive conversations surrounding homelessness and dismantle misconceptions. The Good Box endeavours to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
