- Are you willing to commit to eight structured two hour sessions?
Youth2Industry is a specialist Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) program delivered at the IMVC, for youth with learning difficulties and/or mild disabilities seeking to successfully achieve their goals in work, training or education. Mentors work alongside youth for seven weeks to assist and explore career pathways.
As a Mentor you will be able utilise and share your employment experiences and career journey to positive influence and guide a young person to start theirs.
As part of your application you will be required to:
- Complete and submit an expression of interest form with your resume attached and two referees
- Attend an interview
- Consent to or provide a National Police Check
- Have or Obtain a Working with Children’s Check
IMVC will help facilitate the processes and pay for costs associate with a National Police Check and Working with Children’s Checks.
Please a compulsory induction on either 23 or 30 May 2019 from 1.00pm – 3.00pm is conducted to provide guidance on your role.
