Primary Schools Liaison

The award winning Art2Heart program has been successfully running for several years by local organisation JCI eastern. It a wonderful program for primary school aged students in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne at no cost to families.
A variety of different art forms are taught by local professional artist over 4 weeks during 2 – hour session on Saturday. The program concludes with an art exhibition and present ceremony for friends and family allowing students to display their creative endeavours made during the session.
We are looking for someone who is interested in Art, Education, Social Work or Administration to work with a dynamic team to plan and run a fantastic art-based Program. Your role requires you to contact schools; art teachers, social workers, and guidance officers to encourage them to nominate students who would benefit from participating in the program. You will be responsible for contacting and liaising with school, setting up and maintaining online enrolments, obtaining medical details, and liaising with families to provide up to date information about the program.
JCI Eastern is a local chapter of Junior Chamber International and run a collection of programs throughout the year. JCI’s mission statement is “To give young people the tools they need to build the bridges of success and create genuine positive change. To plan and action community service and development projects for the betterment of our local communities”.
