Our partner provides holistic care and support to vulnerable children through ensuring access to quality healthcare and education. They are currently seeking a Pro Bono Accountant to provide support to provide support and guidance to their finance team.

The organisation has grown in recent years, upscaling its activities and increasing staff. They now have several donors that require difference finance and audit requirements. The department has some experienced staff but lacks someone with the strategic and financial experience to guide them. They are therefore looking for an Interim Finance Manager to review and improve systems, controls and processes, identifying gaps and strengthening the accounting function.

As the Interim Finance Manager your role will be to improve the quality of financial management. You will supervise 4 staff in the accounts office, 2 interns, 2 cashiers and a stores officer. You will be hands-on and participative manager who will lead and develop an internal team to support the areas of finance, planning and budgeting. Your role will play a critical part in partnering with top management in strategic decision making and operations as the organisation continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity.
