Volunteer Project Lead for Event Management

The Life Choices Foundation provides presentations to High Schools and Correctional Centres across Australia. The presentations have reached over 250,000 people making them equipped and freed to make considered life choices. Some of the topics we cover are safe driving, depression, smoking, alcohol, drugs, teenage relationships, social media and making courageous choices when faced with peer group pressure.

We are organising a massive event for the 23rd July 2017 at Eastern Creek, Sydney Motor Sport Park.
Momentum is building with less than 8 weeks until the event, and we’ll need more help and more hands on deck to ensure a fantastic event for approx. 5,000 people.

We are preparing for a day that will be accessible to everyone (with only a gold coin donation to attend) and have something for everyone…

• People bringing their cars and driving around the track as fast as they can
• Car clubs and Motor Cycle clubs bringing their fine pieces of machinery to display
• “Kids Zone” with face painting, jumping castles, petting zoo and more
• “Teen zone” with dodgem cars, sumo wrestling suits, climbing wall, and more
• Musicians playing
• Other charities are invited to attend and promote their services

A lot has been done, and a lot more needs to be done.

• strong communication
• proven proactive approach
• experience with event management
• promoting events (desirable)
• advertising/marketing/public relations (desirable)
