As the Australian partner of a global alliance, African Enterprise (AE) is an established inter-denominational Christian ministry, committed to the transformation of lives through the Word of God. AE’s core and primary ministry is evangelism. Integrated with evangelism are 3 key support ministries namely peace building, aid and development, and leadership development. The Australian office based in Macquarie Park, is respected worldwide as a major contributor in raising finances and resources for our African partners.
Reporting to the Chair of the Australian Board, the General Manager has total oversight of a small dedicated team that includes Marketing, Church Partnerships, Database and Systems Administration and Finance. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to manage and evaluate the effectiveness of key programs that will engage and grow a demographically diverse supporter base that includes a percentage of major supporters. As General Manager, you will also participate in strategic meetings in Africa with the leadership of its African teams and the global alliance and bring to this role, supporter perspective that will enable our African teams to gain useful insights.

A pivotal leadership role that combines ministry and the rigor of contemporary business practices, your experience should include strong operational ability across the functional units of an organisation. Tertiary qualified and known for your superior relationship skills, experience within a Not For Profit will be highly valued along with your ability to extend the reach of fundraising. You should also be recognised as a mature Christian professional active in the life of an evangelical church.
