We have a great opportunity for someone whose passion is to work within a team dedicated to developing strategic partnerships, influencing policy, and mobilising resources to drive Marie Stopes’ work in the region. The function of this core role is to provide oversight and management of strategic projects with core and emerging donors implemented by MSI. The primary responsibilities are to work with relevant teams across MSI and externally to lead the implementation, reporting and stakeholder relationship management of 2-3 key strategic projects.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in international development, public health, or a related field
- Three years relevant work experience in project management for international development or health programs
- Proven experience in in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and rigorous deadlines
- Experience in the design and review of monitoring and evaluating frameworks
- Experience working with DFAT contract requirements, policies and guidelines
- Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health care
- Experience working in China, Myanmar, Ethiopia or Vietnam (desirable)
- Pro choice stance on termination of pregnancy
