Gallery Director

Monash Gallery of Art seeks an ambitious and creative individual to lead one of Australia’s most aspirational public galleries.  This is a career defining position building on MGA’s reputation and vision.

MGA seeks a new Gallery Director who will work closely with the City of Monash and MGA Committee of Management to set the vision and strategy of MGA as the Australian Home of Photography.

Your leadership, management and strategic planning abilities will have been gained in a gallery, museum or not-for-profit organisation. You will be able to demonstrate experience in audience and collection development, a capacity for fundraising and advocacy.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire corporate, cultural and community partners and visitors will ensure success in the role.
