About the organisation
Mummy's Wish provides practical, immediate and non-means tested support to Mums and Mums-to-be fighting cancer who have children 12 years and under.
Like everyone, we hope that one day there will be a cure for cancer. Until that time, we are here to help young families whose their lives are turned upside down when Mum finds out she has cancer. We understand every family is different and the support and information we provide is be tailored specifically to their unique needs.
We are based in Brisbane but our reach is national and we have big plans for growth in the next 3 years.
About the role
We are a small charity with big plans for growth. This is YOUR chance to get in at the ground floor, as we need an experienced and dedicated individual giving program manager.
This role has the potential for you to really make a difference and grow the role. Your day to day activities will likely be diverse, challenging and interesting. You will need to liaise with third party partners, our donors and our other team members to put in place an excellent individual giving program.
The purpose of this role is to develop and manage an individual giving program, across a range of media to maximise and grow income from supporters. This will include recruitment of new donors, the stewardship and upgrading of existing supporters.
We are looking for someone who will take ownership of the program. You will have the confidence to quickly build rapport and therefore relationships with all stakeholders.
You should have at least 3 year’s experience in a fundraising or marketing role, ideally within a relevant not for profit organisation. You will need excellent attention to detail and demonstrable project management skills.
We want someone who is up for the challenge of working in a new role, someone who is thorough, detail oriented but doesn’t sweat the small stuff – someone who loves getting things done. We are looking forward to finding someone who can fit straight in and help us towards our goals.
