About the role

The Philanthropic Relations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of the Advancement fundraising strategy. The Coordinator will partake in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors, initiate, strengthen and manage strategic relationships with philanthropic partners and manage and continually develop a prospect list of potential donors.

This will include:

  • Conducting and coordinating regular visits to donors related to assigned faculties for the purposes of cultivation, solicitation or stewardship of gifts in excess of $15,000.
  • Monitoring all prospective donor contacts to ensure positive and purposeful donor relations.
  • Conducting a minimum of 8 donor visits per month and progress prospective donors through to actual gifting stage as per the best practice processes and standards established within the portfolio.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and donors to optimise outcomes, strengthen relationships, and enhance the University’s reputation.

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Undergraduate qualification or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and experience.
  • A record of successfully meeting targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and strengthening relationships and strong networking skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and public relations skills that demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
