About the Role
We invite applications from interested persons for two Directorships on the UnitingSA Board. Both Directors will be appointed for an initial term of three years. There is a nominal remuneration.
Applications are sought from appropriately experienced and qualified individuals:
- Board Director – Finance – this will include the position of Chairing the Finance and Audit
- Board Director – Aged care, housing and/or community services, strategic policy and business
We are looking for people who have expertise in one or more of the above areas and will bring passion, commitment and energy to the Board. Commitment to the ethos of the Uniting Church is essential, however membership of the Uniting Church is desirable rather than essential. Successful candidates will ideally possess a sound knowledge of contemporary governance frameworks. Australian Institute Company Directors qualifications would be advantageous.
