The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a national charity protecting children from violence and bullying. Our vision is that every child will live in a safe and supportive environment. The Foundation cares for children who have experienced or witnessed violence and runs programs which prevent violence in the lives of children. We play an advocacy role and we are a voice against childhood violence.
About the role
The Fundraising Relationship Specialist is a pivotal role in our Fundraising team, helping us to raise funds to protect children from violence & bullying. Reporting into the Head of Fundraising, this role focuses on attracting and retaining mid-level ($1000-plus) supporters. In this role you would be required to:
- deliver our Supporter Engagement Program;
- nurture positive relationships with existing and prospective mid-value gift supporters;
- research, identify and qualify prospective supporters;
- ensure appropriate recognition of supporters;
- maintain accurate databases;
- prepare timely and detailed reports;
- represent, and inspire support for, the Foundation’s work in the community.
Experience required:
- tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in fundraising, events, sales and marketing ore related fields;
- extensive experience of supporter relationship management, major donor programs and general fundraising;
- demonstrated skill in working with donor database systems;
- exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
The Foundation is committed to Child Safety. A Police Check and Current Working with Children Check are required for the successful applicant.
