The Foundation cares for children who have experienced or witnessed violence and runs programs which prevent violence in the lives of children. We play an advocacy role and we are a voice against childhood violence.

 

About the role

The Fundraising Relationship Specialist is a pivotal role in our Fundraising team, helping us to raise funds to protect children from violence & bullying. Reporting into the Head of Fundraising, this role focuses on attracting and retaining mid-level ($1000-plus) supporters. In this role you would be required to:

  • deliver our Supporter Engagement Program;
  • nurture positive relationships with existing and prospective mid-value gift supporters;
  • research, identify and qualify prospective supporters;
  • ensure appropriate recognition of supporters;
  • maintain accurate databases;
  • prepare timely and detailed reports;
  • represent, and inspire support for, the Foundation’s work in the community.

Experience required:

  • tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in fundraising, events, sales and marketing ore related fields;
  • extensive experience of supporter relationship management, major donor programs and general fundraising;
  • demonstrated skill in working with donor database systems;
  • exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.

The Foundation is committed to Child Safety. A Police Check and Current Working with Children Check are required for the successful applicant.
