Corporate Partnerships & Development Manager

About the Role

This is a newly created role with the scope to develop and manage a portfolio of accounts, working on new business development opportunities across a range of services, suppliers and channels, researching prospective corporate supporters and making appropriate approaches.

The primary purpose of the role is to build a pipeline of corporate support and generate significant annual revenue through the development of cause marketing programs and new corporate partnerships.

A strong focus will be on the development and implementation of a 5 Year Corporate Fundraising strategy which will incorporate the community and events fundraising channels. This exciting new role is initially for a 2 year period but with the potential opportunity for ongoing employment.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Tertiary degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate/cause marketing/business partnership management and development.
• Understanding of corporate social responsibility and cause marketing practices
• Account management, relationship management skills, shared value and social enterprise practices.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills including influencing, persuading and closing
• Exceptional presenting, writing and communication skills
• Track record for hitting financial targets and winning large partnerships
• Familiarity with the fundraising sector
