CAPITAL CAMPAIGN RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Lort Smith’s dedicated Vets, Nurses and Client Support teams provide world class animal healthcare and wellbeing services for over 20,000 sick and injured animals each year at their specialist hospital in North Melbourne. The organisation’s important mission is to improve the health and happiness of animals and the people who care for them.

An exciting opportunity now exists for you to be part of this iconic organisation in the newly created role of Capital Campaign Relationship Manager. This role will be reporting directly to the Head of Communications and Fundraising and will work in consultation with the Philanthropy Manager to manage the recently launched capital campaign “Our Future is in Your Hands”. 

Specifically, the role will include developing, executing and evaluating strategies in relation to securing support for the capital campaign as well as developing and stewarding relationship’s with major donors and seeking support from philanthropic trusts and foundations.

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record in managing major gifts and capital campaigns.  You will also require superior relationship management and engagement skills, with a proven track record in managing budgets and meeting financial targets.  Experience with donor management software desirable – with a preference for Raisers Edge.
