Camp Quality believes every Australian child impacted by cancer should have every opportunity to thrive. We do this by providing innovative programs and services to develop life skills and strengthen the wellbeing of children aged 0 – 13 growing up with cancer, and their families. We support families no matter where they live in Australia, throughout each stage of their cancer journey.
About the Role
This is an exciting new position based in our Melbourne office that will see you providing research, administrative and communications support to Camp Quality’s Major Gifts Program.
Working closely with the Major Gifts Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying potential major gift opportunities, providing information and analysis on major gift prospects from Camp Quality’s database and other external information sources.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
•at least 2-3 years’ experience in fundraising, working with individual donors and/or high net worth events;
•excellent writing, analytical and research skills, with an ability to seek, interpret and synthesize information and communicate it in a compelling and succinct form;
•the ability to work and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders; and
•demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Preferred:
•Qualifications in fundraising, communications, or project management.
•Experience with major gifts programs
•Experience using Salesforce
•Experience in prospect research including sourcing biographical, financial and philanthropic information
