The Fundraising and Communications Division (FCD) is responsible for ensuring that Cancer Council maintains a visible, engaging presence in the community; and to inspire and activate support from the Victorian public. Within the Fundraising and Communications Division, The Community Engagement Unit is responsible for providing Victorians with inspiring, meaningful ways to contribute to a cancer free future. To achieve this, the unit is accountable for the strategy and implementation of key fundraising campaigns and events across the State. This dynamic Unit takes a continuous improvement approach to innovation and business development, ensuring supporters have a great experience supporting Cancer Council.

About your opportunity
We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to join the Fundraising and Communications Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing/fundraising professional with fantastic leadership skills to make your mark while contributing to a vital cause. Reporting to the Head of Community Engagement, your role is to:
- Lead a digital fundraising team and develop and oversee the implementation of national peer-to-peer and online fundraising campaigns in Victoria.
- Coach and develop the digital fundraising team, driving a culture of innovation, learning and continuous improvement.
- Be a key member of the Community Engagement Unit leadership team, contributing to Division-Wide strategies, and motivating teams to implement campaigns that deliver outstanding supporter experiences and raise funds for Cancer Council.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
- Substantial experience leading teams in a digital fundraising, marketing, sales or ecommerce role in the not-for-profit and/or commercial sector, who always has an eye on best practice, developing technologies, and results.
- Demonstrated ability in effectively launching online fundraising and/or peer-to-peer campaigns; and taking a data-driven approach to investment decisions, testing, evaluation and improvement.
- Proven ability in collaboratively leading and empowering teams and staff to deliver operational priorities with a growth mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

This full-time permanent position provides a salary within range $82,316 – $97,406 pa plus superannuation, annual leave loading and the benefits of not-for-profit salary packaging and a meal entertainment card.
