Currently undergoing a period of positive growth, they are now seeking to appoint a new Finance Manager to work directly with the Principal where you will be responsible for the leadership and strategic management of the College finances.
Other key responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparation of monthly financial management reports, coordination of the month end processes, taxation and statutory compliance including year-end and audit;
- Management of the month end finance process, including reconciliations, cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Production of appropriate monthly, annual and occasional financial reports as required by the College Executive and College Council.
- Oversight of all matters relating to payroll, debtors, risk management, financial and administrative control, insurances and investments.
- Ensure appropriate internal controls and policies are in place for the Colleges finances.
The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with tertiary qualifications in commerce/ or accounting and possess a track record of achievement in a key finance role where you have lead change and improved business processes, with a focus on budgeting, financial planning and management reporting. We are seeking an astute finance leader who can provide exemplary financial leadership and skill in a service organisation, be outcomes focused and have proven experience in either the not-for-profit or educational sectors. You will be a skilled and transparent communicator and thoughtful negotiator with good listening skills and sensitivity to diverse perspectives.
