About the organisation

Organisation Name : FightMND (via Gembridge)

About the role

  • Lead significant campaigns
  • Dynamic & passionate team
  • Docklands location

FightMND was established in 2014 with the purpose of finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The Foundation is the voice and guiding star for Australians who want to fight MND, referred to as ‘The Beast’ by Neale Daniher.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is the name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells (neurones) controlling the muscles that enable us to move around, speak, swallow and breathe fail to work normally and eventually die. With no nerves to activate them, the muscles gradually weaken and waste. There is currently no truly effective treatment and no known cure so this is why we fight MND – to cure, to care and make aware!

As Campaign Manager, you will help drive the success of two established campaigns – Daniher’s Drive and The Big Freeze as well as other campaigns as directed. Reporting to the Campaign Director and working with a dynamic team, you will facilitate engagement, operations, logistics, budgets and events for both campaigns throughout the year. You will engage with key stakeholders including partners, sponsors, supporters and ambassadors and recruit, lead and mobilise volunteers as you pro-actively strive forward to achieve win-win outcomes, campaign deliverables and increase fundraising income.

You will be a proven leader with end-to-end project management skills, commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement, along with a growth mindset, attention to detail and ability to think strategically and creatively. Tertiary qualifications in event management or communications is desirable and FIA Certificate or Diploma in Fundraising is highly regarded.

APPLY NOW if are a proven leader wanting to make a difference and drive FightMND’s campaigns forward into the next decade.
Applications close on 20 January 2020.
