About the role
Based in the bustling capital of Peru, located in the valleys of the Chillón, Rímac and Lurín rivers, our partner offer programmes focussing on children equal opportunities in health & education. They have been working in Peru for almost 30 years, focusing on the country’s poorest areas whereby they advocate and promote children’s rights.
Whilst their Finance team is strong, there is an urgent need for an experienced accountant to work with their programmes and operations teams to:
– Help them better manage, monitor and report on their budget lines and make a comparison to actual figures
– Create a better work flow between finance and programmes for better financial management
You will undertake a thorough assessment of their accounting and financial management systems, making and implementing recommendations on best practice based on the complexity of their finances, the resources available to the organisation and skillset of the local staff.
Career benefits: This broad and wide-ranging assignment is a great opportunity for accountants thinking about a career move to the international sector to get an extensive insight in just a few weeks.
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Lima offers visitors a unique experience – with an authentic personality, exquisite cuisine and interesting history, a visit to the capital of Peru will not be regretted.
