Welcome to Hopes and Dreams. We are a not for profit charity that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of the poor, needy and desperate people living in the remote and rural parts of Africa and India. We focus on two key areas:
• bringing clean and safe water to communities, and
• assisting the poor with providing Micro Enterprise Development/Economic Empowerment opportunities.

All of our solutions are self-sustaining with a minimum of 90% of funds received going towards the projects. We are convinced that we can break generational poverty and see lives transformed through what we are doing. We can give ‘hope’ to the hopeless and encourage the poor to awaken their ‘dreams’ and possibilities. To date we have already impacted over 60,000 valuable lives. Together we can reach millions, one life at a time!

We are currently positioning our Charity organisation to step up to the next level of operation and funding in order to meet the growing demand for support of our development projects amongst the poorest of the poor communities in India and Africa.

As such we are seeking volunteers for our various Board Sub Committee’s with the requisite knowledge, skills and experience to assist the board in fulfilling this mission.

Specific areas of expertise we are seeking from our volunteer base to enhance our various board sub-committee areas include Grant Writing, Marketing & Communications, Social Media, Raising brand awareness, Web Design & Development and Fundraising & Advocacy.

We are seeking individuals who share our values and heart, who are willing to commit to the mission and vision and want be part of team knowing that their contribution is playing an important part in us making a difference to those we are serving.
This is a voluntary position and there is no salary or remuneration.

The expected time commitment is dependent on the role performed and the sub-committee. We anticipate it will vary, some weeks it may be 2 hours while some weeks there will be no time required. Meetings will be conducted in a collaborative approach.
