About the role

Are you passionate about women’s mental health and wellbeing? We want to provide counselling services for women in the community and give them a space to voice themselves, free of judgement and to seek advice if necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Host counselling sessions to women in the community

  • Provide feedback from counselling sessions on what women in the community need and be able to recommend the organisation programs that will cater to them

  • Liaise with Copywriter and Graphic Designer to relay information about the counselling sessions

  • Building relationships of trust and respect

  • Keeping confidential records

Skills & Experience

  • High listening skills with empathy and understanding

  • Non-judgemental attitude

  • Ability to cope in emotional situations

  • Intermediate skills using Google Docs, Sheets and Google Drive

  • Experience in using project management tools are desired, otherwise training is provided

IMPORTANT BEFORE APPLYING:

  • This is a voluntary position

  • Each position has a minimum commitment level of 2-3 hours a week

  • We will use a project management tool to track KPI and keep all members up to date

  • On-site committee are required proof of double vaccinations

  • Attendance to monthly meetings are encouraged but optional (either on-site or online)

We aim to unite, inspire and empower young women by providing services such as workshops and events that focuses on mental health and well-being. We've got so many ideas, programs and events to organise but not enough pair of hands. We're making a few changes and looking to expand our team. We're searching for talented and dedicated women who want to help us make a change and assist women in unleashing their full potential.
