With mental health entering into a period of major change, reform and new investment, now is an exciting time to join the Board of Mental Health Victoria Ltd (MHV).
MHV is an independent not-for-profit organisation providing thought leadership and informed policy perspectives on Victorian and national mental health reform. Our aim is to ensure that people living with mental illness can access the treatment and support they need.
MHV’s membership is drawn from organisations that work within, or intersect with, the mental health system. We work with carers, consumers, clinical and support services, medical colleges, professional associations, unions, police, emergency services, universities, governments and many others involved in mental health. We commission research and develop policy aimed at improving the mental health system as a whole and its many constituent parts. In anticipation of the major changes to the mental health sector ahead, MHV is restructuring its Board and is seeking expressions of interest from experienced directors with skills and experience in the following areas:
- Law
- Media / Social Media
- Accounting (CA/CPA preferred)
