Short-term workshop facilitator/project consultant

Opportunity: Develop and implement a mechanism to gather information from the Manningham Community Services CEO Network on services provided and to also facilitate a workshop to agree on a platform to provide this information to the public and to workers and volunteers in the community services.

The Manningham Community Service CEO Network is a network of the following community services organisations in Manningham: AccessHC, Doncare Community Services, MannaCare, Onemda and YMCA Manningham.

The purpose of the Network is to coordinate community services provided by these organisations within the City of Manningham. The members are seeking to provide a mechanism for members of the public and workers and volunteers in the field to learn what services these organisation provide and to find out pathways for referral.

The role of the workshop facilitator/project consultant is to consult with each of the Network CEOs to determine the service scope of the organisation. Once defined, the facilitator will work with the CEOs to refine a process or mechanism to:
1) deliver this information to public, workers and volunteers in the community services and to
2) canvas and devise suitable communication methods that will ensure currency of information on services and pathways to referral.

A skilled volunteer is sought to advise and guide the Network through the process of service identification in consultation with each Network CEO. To facilitate CEO workshops to determine the best way for the Network to convey this information to the public and community service workers and to keep this information current. The role requires the person to write brief reports at each stage of the process.

This is a one-off task, working with a highly professional group for a project that will make a difference to the lives of many people wishing to access community services in Manningham.
