About the role
Are you interested in history? Do you have good general computer skills or experience with social media?
You will create and curate social media posts based upon the articles History Guild writes. You will be assisted in this by post scheduling software missinglettr, which intelligently extracts quotes and images from the articles. You then arrange them into relevant social media posts. These posts aim to better inform the Australian public about history, it’s relevance and importance.
Training will be provided.
This can be done remotely from anywhere. It requires a minimum of 2 hours per week of your time. There are options available for you to write about your areas of interest in history.

History Guild is a not for profit organisation of history enthusiasts.
Our mission is historical literacy for all. To be able to make decisions about the future it is imperative that we understand the past. We advocate for better historical understanding.
We write articles such as this How War with Spain Created the Dutch Colonial Empire and this Australia’s first action in the Pacific in World War II a valiant catastrophe.
History Guild is a registered charity, and is funded by the generosity of it’s members and supporters.
