About the role
Darebin Community Legal Centre (DCLC) is seeking an individual with accounting skills to join its committee of management on a voluntary basis as its treasurer.
The treasurer has the responsibility of reporting on the financial reports that are provided by the DCLC finance officer to the committee of management, as well signing off on the reconciliations that are also provided by the DCLC finance officer, and overseeing an external audit report annually.
The treasurer plays an important role in monitoring budgets and reports and providing the committee of management with information about the financial obligations and management of the centre.
