Our Mission / Objective

Cancer Council Western Australia's vision is to achieve a cancer-free future for our community. It is our mission to work with our community to reduce the incidence and impact of cancer. By including a gift in your Will we can stand together - united in our commitment to make a real difference in the fight against cancer and to help those diagnosed with cancer, their families, friends and future generations.

Projects in Progress

Cancer Council WA is your compass through cancer. We are a non-government organisation relying on community support to fund our wide range of activities. Services and programs we provide include: the Cancer Council Helpline (phone 13 11 20), cancer education & prevention, research funding, accommodation in Perth for country cancer patients, financial & practical assistance, palliative care education & support services, a wig service, volunteer programs and fundraising events.

How to help us

Wills and Bequests

Including a charitable gift in your Will is a way to give beyond your life time and to make a lasting contribution towards the fight against cancer.

Your Will is the only way you can be confident that your affairs will be settled as you wish. It can be a way of expressing your love and concern for your family, friends, close associates or organisations with whom you have a strong affinity or commitment. So whether you have a few possessions, or many, for your peace of mind, you should have a Will. Your gift to Cancer Council WA could play a vital role in contributing towards life saving cancer research, education and support services we fund.

Cancer treatments are improving and, overall, survival rates are rising. We are also getting better at understanding how cancer impacts on families, and more is being done to help people survive the emotional impact of cancer. You can be confident that all monies received by Cancer Council WA stay in Western Australia to benefit West Australians.
