Our Mission / Objective

Projects in Progress

We believe each child has the right to equal opportunities.
Our Refugee Migrant Children Centre provides a range of settlement and developmental support services to refugee and migrant children within the community.
Our aim is to facilitate a smooth transition to life in Australia.

Services we provide include
• Learning Support Program
• Mentoring
• Workshops
• Educational material aid
• Support groups
• Social outings

Our objectives are to
• Facilitate a sense of belonging, community and inclusiveness
• Assist the children to overcome language, literacy and numeracy barriers
• Provide a safe and supportive environment that is free from discrimination
• Enable participants that are independent and able to shape their own future
• Minimise social isolation and increasing engagement within the community
• Assist in the navigation and referral to other organisational services

Our programs ensure that material and occupational needs are addressed, and that broad environmental factors are considered. We seek to prioritise the wellbeing of children, so that a sense of agency, value and identity can be developed within the broader Australian community.
