Inspiring people to share our belief that caring for people at the end of their lives is an honour and a privilege and to work with us to support living every day, every hour.

We at The Mary Potter Foundation are committed to raising funds and awareness for Mary Potter. When people come to us they experience facilities and care which is comfortable, individual and meaningful.


We describe it as Mary Potter Care. And we believe Mary Potter Care is about living every day, every hour.

Our Beneficiaries

Donations to The Mary Potter Foundation are used to support care for patients with life-limiting illness and their families in the the Mary Potter Hospice and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital

The Mary Potter Foundation relies on wonderful people who chose to leave legacy gifts in their will. Without government funding, we rely totally on support from our community and each year bequest income ensures that we can meet the special care needs of each person and their family.

General Donations

We rely totally on support from our community. Donations make possible vital medical care, additional staff, wonderful holistic programs and the meeting of individual needs to help each person to live every day, every hour when it really matters the most.


Every gift over $2 is tax deductible and can be made online, by calling Phoebe or Lorna on 08 8239 0119 or by post to The Mary Potter Foundation, PO Box 2003, North Adelaide, SA 5006.

Other support

You can support The Mary Potter Foundation by joining our Heart for Hospice monthly giving program. For as little as $10 each month you For as little at $10 each month you can show you have a ‘Heart for Hospice’ by supporting vital nursing care for a family just like yours for one full day every year. Patients and their families will experience nursing care the Mary Potter way – individual and meaningful, compassionate and loving. This level of care is really at the heart of the Hospice. 


You can attend one of our events, hold your own event, become a Corporate Partner or choose us for one of your work charity days, buying lottery tickets throughout the year
