Fundraising Awards Deadline Approaches

The deadline for nominations for Fundraising and Philanthropy Magazine’s 2009 Australasian Fundraiser of the Year Award is fast approaching.
The award is designed to acknowledge and celebrate fundraisers at the leading edge of the profession – those achieving outstanding results through a combination of smart strategy, great leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and best practice methodology.
The award is open to fundraisers from large and small Not for Profits in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific area.
There are three categories in this year’s award – one each for executives from large and small charities, and one for a fundraiser from an emerging Asian country.
An Independent board of judges drawn from the Asia-Pacific Region will assess the nominations.
Prizes to the value of $12,000 are up for grabs including the chance to attend the International Fundraising Congress in the Netherlands.
To nominate yourself or a colleague for the award, download the nomination form the Fundraising and Philanthropy Magazine website (link), fill it in and email it back.
Deadline for nominations is Thursday, 30th July. NGO Recruitment and The International Fundraising Congress are key partners in making the award possible.
