Corporate Social Responsibility in Action

Award winning youth charity Kids Help Line is joining with leading Australian corporations and Sir William Deane to officially launch its ‘Australian first’ organisation – BisiNetwork, a new entity that helps companies to actively engage in initiating positive social change.

A breakfast seminar in Sydney this month will illustrate how to put all the talk of social change into action.

Kids Help Line says the BisiNetwork model provides a powerful yet economical way for leading business decision makers to make a difference for Australian youth whilst enhancing their company’s reputation.

Kids Help Line says it has gathered a wealth of information in its twelve years of operation, answering over 10,000 calls from children & young people every week.

It is part of its charter to disseminate this information to the widest possible audience and it says BisiNetwork will provide valuable initiatives and programs that can be implemented throughout member organisations as well as the broader community.

KHL says BisiNetwork is based on the principle that true achievement comes through partnership.

Hear from companies such as Manchester Unity, TAB, Evalue, Optus and Ernst & Young on why they chose to support the BisiNetwork and learn how your organisation can enjoy a leadership reputation whilst ensuring the health of your business, employees, Australian youth and their families.

Venue: Shangri-La Hotel “Grand Ballroom”, 176 Cumberland Street, The Rocks
Date: Thursday 30 October 2003, 7.30am to 9.00am;
Cost: Tickets $65 per person or tables of 10 $650, includes breakfast.

RSVP to Kids Help Line by phone on (02) 9415 4011 or email sridgeway@kidshelp.com.au by Friday 24 October.
