Olympic Winner! The Flying Doctor

When the Olympic Games transfix the eyes of the world for two weeks, odds are that fundraising campaigns slide onto the back burner. Not so for the quick thinking Royal Flying Doctor Service in Victoria!
CEO David Zerman came up with a clever idea to kick off a campaign and watch the Olympics at the same time.
Zerman invited RFDS Ambassadors to join volunteers in sending out letters to new donors, to help save up to $40,000 in mailing costs and see how the organisation works first hand.
The invitation asked them to participate in daily heats of the Flying Doctor Super Olympic Games Envelope Stuffing Competition at their St. Kilda headquarters.
RFDS Olympic Food, RFDS Olympic medals, and RFDS Olympic Television saw dozens help keep the flying doctor flying while they watched the Olympics on the big screen.
The successful envelope-stuffing competitions were only interrupted by moments of wild cheering and screams of Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
