Free Ticket Offer

The Australian Communications and Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) is offering two free registrations to their upcoming National Conference in September to Pro Bono Australia readers.

Over the last year the communications landscape has changed dramatically.

ACCAN says consumers have never had more choice yet many consumers are confused about the products and services on offer and service complaint numbers continue to rise.

In this conference, to be held in the UTS Function Centre in Sydney on September 5 and 6, ACCAN talks about how the market does and does not, deliver for consumers.

To win your free pass to the event simply ‘Like’ the Pro Bono Australia Facebook page and like the our status update referencing this event, to be in the running.

The 2012 ACCAN National Conference will feature a wide variety of speakers from Government, industry, regulatory authorities and consumer groups, who will each present different ideas and perspectives.

For the first time the ACCAN National Conference will also be featuring a ‘TEXPO’ of new and emerging technologies with a special emphasis on technology for accessibility.

ACCAN also offers two types of financial assistance to support members, or nominees of member organisations, to attend the ACCAN Annual Conference: five (5) Complimentary Travel Grants to provide financial assistance for members resident in rural NSW, or interstate; and five (5) Complimentary Registration Grants.
