Social Ventures Australia’s first SVA Quarterly event of 2017, in partnership with Pro Bono Australia, where sector leaders will reflect on current trends and how their organisations are responding to them.
With seismic shifts in the sector affecting a wide range of organisations, please join us on 27 February in the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne to hear the varied perspectives of CEOs from both the service delivery and funding spheres, including:
- Emma King, Victorian Council of Social Service
- Andrew Bruun, Youth Support + Advocacy Service
- Sarah Davies, Philanthropy Australia
- David Crosbie, Community Council for Australia
- Lina Caneva, Editor, Pro Bono Australia
Panel host James Kirby (Wealth Editor, The Australian) will be challenging these leaders on how they and the organisations they represent are working to mitigate or benefit from the impact of current trends. Up for discussion are topics ranging from market deregulation, procuring for outcomes and new finance vehicles, to the growth of evidence-based practice and place-based service design. Guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the panel.
