The Rudd Government is to host a social inclusion conference in Melbourne on 28 and 29 January 2010.

Government to Host Social Inclusion Conference

The conference is an opportunity to join a national conversation about effective and innovative social inclusion policy and practice.

 

The conference will be highly interactive and offer participants an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss topics and learn from each other to build a more socially inclusive Australia.

 

Key note addresses will be delivered by:

Professor Sir Michael G. Marmot (MBBS, MPH, FRCP, FFPHM, FMedSci, FBA) – Director, International Institute for Society and Health, and MRC (Medical Research Council) Research Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health, University College London.

Christine Davies CBE – Chief Executive Office of the Centre for Excellence and Outcomes (C4EO) in Children and Young People’s Services

 

Registrations are open until mid January 2010,and a detailed program is presently being developed.
