Windsor Recruitment will host the inaugural training session Fiscal Fundamentals: a single-session, fast-track overview course in finance for non-financial Directors in Brisbane on August 22, aimed at Not for Profit board members who may be unaware of the risk involved in governing an NFP organisation lacking the appropriate financial acumen.
The recruitment organisation say that one morning spent in the hands of coach Lisa Bundesen (non-executive director of RSPCA Qld) can give Directors the basic understanding they need to interpret and assess their balance sheet, income profit and loss statements and cash flow reports.
Equipped to discuss the financial and non-financial indicators of organisational performance, Directors are then able to judge whether financial statements accurately reflect the true position of their company.
