Leaders of Not for Profit organisations will have the chance to earn a professional qualification while gaining valuable strategies for navigating the new third sector landscape.
The Graduate Certificate in Management of Not-for-Profit Organisations, delivered by Australian Catholic University, is a specialised post-graduate program created to address a growing need for sector-specific education.
The highly practical course is the flagship program of ACU Executive Education who in 2012 worked with over 400 NFP managers and board members. It addresses issues such as Governance, Marketing & Fundraising, HR & Finance Management and is led by accomplished thought-leaders in this unique field.
The University Qualification also provides four units of credit towards an MBA.
It aims to equip participants with real-world skills to succeed in the face of ever-decreasing budgets and a major government reform.
Applications are now open for the Melbourne and Brisbane courses launching in March 2013.
A limited number of places remain for Sydney which commence in January and April.
Current participant and CEO of StreetWork, Andrew Crawford, said: “The quality of ACU lecturers together with superb university features both on campus and online continues to surpass my expectations. I am very confident that the 3rd sector has been crying out for a practical qualification like this for a long time and my management team are already seeing clear benefits of being part of the NFP program within StreetWork.”
