Superyou: From Bold Idea to Industry Disruptor

30 September 2025 at 3:16 am
The allied health industry is often seen as tough, marked by constant policy and pricing changes. Yet behind the headlines lies an untold story: the positive impact, the dedicated
professionals, and the real difference allied health makes every day.
Superyou captures this narrative – demonstrating how innovation, client-centred thinking, and employee-focused action can create lasting success.
Born from a big idea
Just three years ago, Superyou launched in Perth with a simple but ambitious vision: to reimagine therapy. What began as a diversification strategy under PeopleKind Group has
since become a juggernaut – growing from a three-person team to more than 130 employees.
From the outset, Superyou embraced a culture of removing traditional boundaries, fostering innovation, making work fun, and celebrating wins.
Whether it’s helping a child communicate more confidently, supporting a young adult to gain independence, or encouraging a team member to step into leadership for the first time, the organisation is driven by a single purpose: to inspire clients and staff to redefine what’s possible.
Breaking barriers and reframing the NDIS narrative
The allied health sector is not for the faint-hearted. Workforce shortages, NDIS policy shifts, and affordability pressures have forced many providers to scale back. Superyou chose a
different path: listen, innovate, and simplify.
For clinicians, that meant removing pain points that drive burnout – streamlining systems, reducing red tape, and creating a workplace where ideas matter. While industry statistics show workforce shortages crippling many providers, Superyou invests in new staff, encourages innovation, and creates pathways into leadership. Today, 90 per cent of the team feel safe to speak up, and 84 per cent rate the culture highly.
For clients, Superyou reduces waitlists, simplifies processes, and focuses on what matters most – delivering high-quality support. Ten-page contracts have been replaced with service changes as simple as a conversation. The results speak for themselves: a Net Promoter Score of +69, proving that simplicity and support build lasting loyalty.
Why Superyou is different
Superyou’s success isn’t just about numbers – it’s about people. The organisation rewards effort, celebrates wins, and makes work enjoyable. This culture of trust and empowerment has fuelled innovation, from neuroaffirming practices to Superyou Tech, its assistive technology business that is already securing exclusive global partnerships.
From the beginning, Superyou focused on listening to therapists’ frustrations and removing barriers. The result is a workplace that prioritises psychological safety and continuous
improvement – a culture where ideas are welcomed, and clients feel the benefits through the energy, support and consistency of staff.
As Senior Speech Pathologist Christy Watterson explains: “Superyou has a unique culture which is supportive, safe and fun. It’s carefully curated and protected from the top down.”
Reimagining therapy for better outcomes
At Superyou, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. In an industry full of jargon, we keep things simple while setting higher standards of practice. Neuroaffirming approaches celebrate the diverse ways people experience the world, while support is tailored to each individual’s goals and aspirations.
Processes are designed with clients in mind. For example, when families want to adjust their services, they aren’t presented with a 10-page contract. Instead, Superyou’s simplified consent process allows changes to be made on the spot – keeping the focus on support, not paperwork.
This client-centred approach has resulted in an 87 per cent satisfaction rate. And the work continues: Superyou remains committed to improving and adapting services to meet evolving needs.
The results
The growth story is remarkable: Superyou now serves more than 3,000 clients, and generated revenue of nearly $16 million in 2024–25, with $22 million projected in 2025–26. If Superyou were on the AFR Fast Starters list, it would rank in the top 10 nationally.
The organisation generates a 15 per cent margin and has achieved a staff Net Promoter Score 33 points higher than the sector average.
These numbers reflect more than financial performance – they demonstrate a model that invests in people, delivers exceptional services, and drives better outcomes.
Looking ahead
While the industry grapples with workforce attrition and service delivery challenges, Superyou remains steadfast in its mission to reimagine therapy. By investing in people, embracing innovation, and maintaining a relentless focus on client outcomes, the organisation is setting a new benchmark for allied health services.
Change may be constant, but Superyou sees opportunity. The team is proud to celebrate what works, support those making a difference, and inspire confidence in the future of allied health.
