Nominations are now open for the 2012 Minister for Health Volunteer Awards in Victoria.

The awards celebrate Victoria’s dedicated volunteers and recognise the very positive way that volunteers contribute to health care delivery and enriching the patient’s experience.

Nominations are open to Victorian hospitals, community health services, mental health services, aged care services, integrated care centres, ambulance services, and volunteer, charity and non-government organisations.

Individual and team nominees will be recognised for outstanding volunteer commitment and achievements.

You can nominate up to two volunteers from your organisation for an individual award and nominate up to two volunteer teams for a team award.

Nominations close on April 10, 2012. The awards will be presented at a special reception during National Volunteers Week on May 17, 2012.

Further information on entering the awards is available from the Minister for Health Volunteer Awards website.
