Volunteering Victoria have announced their new Chief Executive to replace Dianne Embry who resigned from the position earlier last month.

The new CEO, Sue Noble, joins Volunteering Victoria after more than three years as Chief Executive of Softball Australia.

Noble has a background in business development in legal and accounting fields and Volunteering Victoria have said that she has a “keen personal commitment to volunteering”.

“Sue brings significant experience with peak bodies with diverse membership and will bring a fresh new approach to Volunteering Victoria,” Board President Robyn Rose said.

“She was appointed after an exhaustive process which showed that interest in leading an organisation like ours is very strong.

“On behalf of the Board I congratulate Sue on her appointment. We are confident her energy and expertise will give Volunteering Victoria continuing strong leadership in a changing political and economic landscape.”

Embry will continue working with the community with a new focus in the philanthropic sector, consulting with the Myer Foundation.
