Mobile Charity App Goes Android
23 July 2013 at 11:24 am

Mobile aggregation App, GiveEasy which launched personalised ‘Apps for Charities’ in May has released an Android version.

The switch from the laptop to the mobile devices continues to escalate – more and more people are now transacting off their mobile device than ever before,” GiveEasy’s Business Development Manager Jeremy Tobias said.

“The release of the android version is a significant achievement as it allows all supporters of charities across the country to be able to donate whenever they want from their smart phone or android equivalent.

“As the use of traditional mail declines at a rapid rate, so the need for charities to tap into the ways in which people wish to operate and transact becomes more and more important.

The Smith Family –  a national charity that supports disadvantaged children with their education – is one of the first Not for Profits to unveil a bespoke fundraising App via the GiveEasy platform.

The original free mobile donation app, GiveEasy, launched as a Not for Profit venture in 2012 and won a national innovation award presented by The Australian newspaper and Shell as part of their annual Innovation Challenge in December 2012
