The Victorian State Government is calling on organisations committed to sustainability to register for a free awards scheme celebrating the contribution of businesses, communities and individuals towards creating a more sustainable Victoria.
Just over a month remains before the June entry deadline for the 2014 Premier’s Sustainability Awards, described by Minister for Environment and Climate Change Ryan Smith as “Oscars for the environment”.
“These awards are the night of nights for celebrating exemplary environmentally-friendly behaviour,” he said.
“[They] recognise the outstanding work by Victorian communities, businesses and individuals who are taking action to care for and protect our precious natural assets.
