Need volunteers? Want to volunteer? The quickest way to do this is now on the Internet. Go Volunteer is an initiative of Volunteering Australia and is designed to provide free advertising for the Not for Profit community organisations looking for volunteers.

As well it gives people wanting to volunteer a ‘search’ mode to find opportunities near where they live or work that match their interests and the time they have available.

For the Not for Profit organisations there is free registration for a number of services such as publishing your opportunities immediately on the site, creating new ads from easy to use templates and monitoring the response to existing advertisements.

The Go Volunteer web site was established in partnership with the Boston Consulting Group and SEEK Communications and has only been operating since June 2000!
