We had a great day, and apart from the blood running from the face of one participant when she realised that the cameraman was setting up for real life interviews, everyone discovered the formula for becoming good media performers.

Irene Lau’s afternoon session on how to plan and carry out an ‘event’ was a great eye opener for many as the secrets of a successful media launch unfolded.

Our trainees won’t forget the section on what they ‘must’ know, what they ‘should’ know and what they would ‘like’ to know to run a great event.

Well done to everyone involved and we will keep you up-to-date on future courses.

A quick correction to our story on this year’s guest speaker at the Hollingworth Trust Lecture 2000, Noel Pearson. His degrees are in fact from the University of Sydney not the University of New South Wales.
