Drug Action Week - Kit for NFPs

Drug Action Week is gearing up for 2004 to raise awareness about alcohol and other drug issues in Australia and promote the achievements of those who work to reduce drug related harm.
To be held from 21-25 June, Drug Action Week is hosted each year by the Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA).
Not for Profits can get involved in Drug Action Week 2004 by holding your own event or participating in events planned in your area.
Events can range from a launch or conference to a shopping centre display or sausage sizzle in a community garden. Amongst the many events held last year were book launches, open days, treasure hunts, bike rides, public forums and drug summits.

The kit is a great resource for organising any event. It’s well thought out and worth having for future reference. It even includes a section on handling the media and how to get your message across!
