International Philanthropy Conference Reminder
Thursday, 29th September 2005 at 1:09 pm

The Second International Philanthropy Conference in Melbourne called A wealth of Experience – building philanthropy, corporate citizenship & community capacity takes place on Sunday 9 – Wednesday 12 October 2005 and early bird registrations are about to close.

The full program is now on the Philanthropy Australia website at http://www.philanthropy.org.au.

The Sunday program provides an opportunity for Not for Profit organisations to interact with and better understand the world of Australian philanthropy.

Pro Bono Australia’s founder Karen Mahlab is hosting a session on Volunteering: the good, the bad and the future in the afternoon along with Stephen Duns, the CEO of Volunteering NSW, Michael Peresco, the CEO of the Sacred Heart Mission and Patricia Toohey, the head of Group Community Relations at ANZ.

The Monday to Wednesday program provides a variety of professional development and networking opportunities for existing and potential philanthropists, their advisers, foundation staff and Trustees.

We hope to meet many of our Pro Bono Australia readers at the conference.
