Pareto Masterclasses Show Mystery Shopper Research

Advertorial – Pareto’s October Masterclass is on Customer Care and Benchmarking in the charity sector and presents the results of its Mystery Shopping exercise, undertaken in recent months.

Pareto says the main objective of this project was to measure a charity’s ability to handle donations and inquiries from their supporter base and the general public.

Researchers anonymously contacted a variety of organisations and monitored the responses it received as “Mystery Shoppers”.

The Masterclass will not name and shame individual charities, but will give a fascinating overview of customer service levels in the sector today.

Some of the more noteworthy findings are that:

– 38% of charities did not respond to a request to set up a regular gift

– 24% of charities did not respond to a request for information about leaving a bequest

– When setting up a regular gift, Pareto ‘shoppers’ were thanked only 58% of the time on the phone, 45% by mail and just 37% by email!

Pareto says this Masterclass is the chance to see the full results, then look at practical recommendations and viable solutions that charities can take away and implement immediately.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see what NFPs are doing right, and what they’re doing wrong in the industry today.
