The first Nonprofit Finance Forums to be held in 2008 will take place in Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne in February.
The Forums are presented by Givewell and NonProfit Australia, in partnership with ANZ.
They aim to stimulate discussion and put forward ideas on the developing best-practice models for the financial management of Not for Profit enterprises. The Forums offer a unique opportunity to spend time with a large number of third-sector senior financial managers and decision-makers.
The 2006/2007 Forums attracted an audience of over 800 NFP professionals Australia-wide.
Speakers at the 2008 Forums will include: Julie White, Head, Macquarie Group Foundation, on the key drivers for funding decision-makers; Ross Hawkey, CFO, Mission Australia, on developing and supporting budget accountability across an entire organisation; Paul Henderson, COO, The Smith Family, on the real world impact of financial management decisions; and Heather Neil, CEO, RSPCA Australia, on fundraising and financial management.
